Dining pleasures

Spent 30mins writting my dining experiences for 9 restaurants I went with friends and families in the month and after one "click" it all disappeared from this blog !! aaaaaaaaaaaa............so I will just do a very short summary here.

Shokudo - popular with youngsters and group gatherings.
Food : Average.
Price: Reasonable
Its a Mache concept of Jap food. Had to queue and wait at each counter during peak hours.

Ma Masion - popular with youngsters and group dates.
Food : Good
Price : Average
Good service and nice food. Place abit cluttered wih many deco items to create the homely ambience. Lighting is slightly too dim....for me .
Its signature Ma Masion Hamburger is must try, very nice with sunny side up where the egg yolk is only half cook !

Aerin's - Nice place for couples or group of 3-4s.
Food: Good
Price: Average
Good service and nice food. Love its Black Cod.
Will visit again, just dont seat at those tables w cushions by the side as the distance between each table are too close. Guest with loud voice will be disturbing others.

The Mushroom Pot - Popular with families
Food: Very Good
Price: Costly
Great service and quality of food is very good. Prawns, meat, veg we ordered for our steamboat are all very fresh. Still its abit too pricey.

Fortunate Restaurant @ Int'l Building
Food: Average
Price: Average
Lousy service and so-so food. Power outage when in midst of our dim sum. there was no lights for approx 30mins. "expat" waitresses are not well-trained and cannot understand english, saw them having difficulty serving caucasian tourists. Will not visit again.

Ko Ryo Jeong Rest @ Int'l Plaza
Food: Average
Price: Reasonable
Typical Korean restaurant, as its peak hours I can understand the need to wait for our food, for refill of tea and for bill , especially when you're seated in the private room! However minimum level of attention is still lacking by the waitresses. Food is OK.

Kxxx Jap Rest @ Temasek Tower
Food: Average
Price: Pricey
Lousy service by the "expat" waitresses from overseas!
There was no initiatives to bring us menu after showing us to our table.
No one came to take our orders. Waitresses standing around one spot instead of walking around to check on tables/customers' needs. Will Not try again.

No Signboard Seafood @ Geylang
Food: Good
Price: Average
Impressed with Sri Lanka Chilli Crab, where the crab meat was really sweet and yummy to go with the sauce. Disappointed with the sashimi Geoduck $12/gm as it didnt taste fresh enough. Luckily there was also hot pot given where we can dipped it with the chicken based soup.
Recommend only for the signature Sri Lanka Chilli Crab.

Desires @ Scartlet Hotel
Food: Good
Price: Average
Impressed with its ambience and service is also good. Nice dishes too but in comparison, I feel Amber is more outstanding in terms of quality of food. Great place for couples.
