The Year of Jackie Cheung World Tour'07

We attended Jackie Cheung's concert last night and was truely impressed. To me, he is the best singer in Chinese Music Industry. No wonder he upholds the reputation of "Song God" - a direct translation from mandarin!

The concert started at 820pm and finished at 1145pm without special guest. He was dancing and singing non-stop (except for costume changes) and performed a 30min musical of his famous revised ' xue-lang-hu ' - very good stamina and very good voice - for 3.5hr ! 2 Encores and he returned from backstage to sing for all the audiences eventhough he was very hungry (he was eating an apple at same time he performed last few songs). I also find him quite jovial in his speach, telling us he stays with 8 women so he understand woman very well. Thus, having written a song for his gal - titlted "yao-yao" he quickly compose one for his wife too before he gets into trouble!

As our seats are on Row 1 at the side block, we could see him up close - very dashing and charming especially when he looked at you and smiled while singing the love songs. He is 46yrs old and had sang for half his life.
BTW, both James and I were at one moment captured by cameramen and appeared on big screen for mere secs but we only realised just 1 sec before it changed....sort of missed out how we looked like on big screen !! hhaha - could have capture our own pic ...hehhee - This was when he sang a song he wrote for his fans.
